BioMed - For Physicians

Our prescribers have attained improved pain treatment and enhanced patient satisfaction with BioMed’s topical prescription pain medications.

We would like to share outcome feedback from our prescribers by medical specialty.

You will learn that topical prescription pain medications have low systemic absorption and provide excellent relief. Topical pain medications do not have the adverse side effects of nausea, constipation, lethargy, drowsiness and mental fog commonly associated with oral pain medications.

Please share with us your outcome feedback.

Our clinical education program distinguishes BioMed from all other specialty pharmacies.

We are fully committed to educating physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, nurses, physical therapists, case managers and healthcare professionals with the most innovative and solution-based pain management strategies.

Our clinical education is designed to be relevant, timely and valuable to immediately improve pain management outcomes, reduce addiction and enhance patient satisfaction.

We provide keynote speakers for the majority of statewide medical conferences. We present roundtable discussions and lectures for medical associations, organizations and medical groups.

BioMed is one of the leading educators for resident physicians.

“I certainly enjoyed the entire pain management CME program for physicians. I found the statistics for Pain versus Cancer and Heart Disease to be very informative and effective slides showing the prevalence. I also thought the slides describing how the topical formulas break through the skin to the tissues underneath to be very helpful too. This was all ‘new” information to me, which is why I enjoyed it so much. Thanks again!”

—Jennifer Butterfield, MBA, RN, CNOR
Administrator / CEO
Lakes Surgery Center

“Pills are the most common and sometimes overused remedies that we have all come to rely on in the healthcare field. The presentation demonstrated how many alternatives there are to treat pain and informed us of some alternative pain management techniques.”

—Dawn Whiteside, BSN, RN, CNOR, RNFA
Education Chair
Association of periOperative Registered Nurses, (AORN) Chapter 2312

“The lecture series for the Wayne State University Physician Assistant students has been informative, current, and relevant. It presents a unique perspective to pain management and answers their difficult questions about prescribing pain medication and pain management. There is so little education on pain management, and this lecture works to uncover the myths behind pain management and offers a practical, effective way to manage pain.”

—Lindsay Gietzen, MS, PA-C
Clinical Coordinator, Assistant Professor
Wayne State University, Department of Physician Assistant Studies

“Very practical presentation. The information shared applies to my everyday practice.”

—Ron Lederman, MD
Lederman Kwartowitz Center for Orthopedics and Sports Medicine
